This is a petition request: Wikipedia has placed a painting of the Prophet Muaahammad (P.B.U.H) on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammad.

They need about 100,000 signatures to remove it. So far a little over 48,000 have signed; if you agree that it is wrong to depict his picture, please sign the petition.

We all know that doesnt represent sayyiduna Muhammad [saw] i suggest you spend time doing something possitave instead of whining about some silly painting , you know sayyiduna Muhammad [saw] is also depicted in the suprime law court in USA holding a quran how come no one whines about that?

the none muslims are laughing at us with this sillyness over cartoons and pictures and just remember the kuffar love this kinda thing as it adds fuel to the whole situation.

As a side question, how was it possible for certain Muslims to paint exactly these types of "miniature" paintings supposedly of our Prophet (SAW)?

These paintings were done by shias, who beleive you can paint a picture of someone only after they have died, (not saying Rasoolullah (SAW) is dead)

If you notice, all of the ancient painted depictions of Him SAW are painted in a persian style

Ironicly, the Arbic version of that wikipedia page has no painting anywhere on it.

I just wanted to be sure about this, since upto the Saffawi empire, Persia had a much larger Sunni population than it has now, and this has been used as "proof" by Shias that these paintings must have been done by Sunnis.

If shias Say We did it and We say Shias did, than that means we ALL hate them and the originals should be destroyed
