Hazrat Rahamtullahi used to grace us sinners in the UK with his presence every year at the Khatme Nabuwwat Conference at Birmingham Central Mosque and just to see this great wali was a bounty in itself. Now this has gone too... One of a few reamining links with the elders. Sheikh was a close friend of Maulana Yusuf Binnori rahimullah..
![]() Some info from an old post Hadrat Khwaja Khan Muhammad Sahib is considered the most senior Naqshbandi shuyukh of the sub-continent, if not the entire world. He was a student of Shaykh al-Islam Husayn Ahmad Madani and currently resides near Mianwali in Central Punjab, Pakistan. His khanqah is sometimes praised as being "the last remnant of the ancient khanqahs". The Shaykh is extremely quiet, yet profoundly influential. Hadrat is considered one of the marja's (shaykh and reference) of the 'ulama. Despite his old age (near ninety), he has only a dozen or so khulafa, many of him he has already outlived. He is also currently head of the Khatme Nubuwwat Movement in Pakistan and succeeded the martyr Mawlana Yusuf Ludhyanwi (ra), who was the previous ameer. Amongst his khulafa is Hadrat Mawlana Nazr al-Rahman, a renowned elder of tabligh in Pakistan and a permanent worker and resident of the Raiwind markaz. In respect to age and rank in chain, Hadrat was at par with Shaykh Zulfiqar Naqshbandi's (ha) shaykh, Mawlana Ghulam Habib (ra) of Chakwal. Hadrat's shaykh and spiritual guide was Shaykh Abu al-Sa'd Ahmad Khan (ra) and he succeeded him in the responsibility of running the Khanqah Sirajiyyah. |

![]() From Mawlana Bilal 'Ali's blog: With great sadness and a growing emptiness in my heart do I have to announce the passing of my Shaykh, my spiritual guide, my murshid, Hadrat Khwaja Khan Muhammad, may Allah have mercy on him and grant him the highest place in Jannah. He was 98. I must be honest. The sadness in my heart prevents me from writing more than a simple announcement at this time. I just wanted to fulfill my responsibility of announcing his passing and ask others to join me in praying for him and for the entire Ummah, which has lost one of the last remnants of more pristine and pious times. When this paralysis of melancholy subsides, I wish to write a biography of our Shaykh. May Allah make it easy. http://attalib.blogspot.com/2010/05/...rs-hadrat.html |

May Allah grant all those connected to Hadhrat Khawaja Khan Muhammad RA immense sabr and allow us and them to continue to follow the teachings of hadhrat shaikh ra.
How can we ever repay those blessed personalities whose company, love and tarbiyah has transformed our incapable and undeserving souls... |
