Default What will happen after a believer fails the test?
brothers and sisters I need to know about,

Allah (swt) tests a believer to see whether he follows His commandments or his own desires; whether he lives a righteous and godly life or lives according to what his nafs (self ) dictates; and love of Him is unconditional or is it conditioned with good health and comfortable life free from stress and anxiety.

Suppose, the believer fails that test, he finds the opposite of what he claimed to be...
(yes, he will be rewarded with his deeds in here after, but I am asking about this world) what will happen after that failure? his minimum Iman will be withdrawn or will be punished for?

Please simplify it.

sorry, Allah (s.w.t) takes tests, rite? if a believer fails that so what will happen after that?

Like suppose, He (s.w.t) tests you in some trial whether you will follows His commandments or your own desires and you follow your Own, and thus fails the test so, what will happen after that? will He (s.w.t) decrease your Iman? or what like?

brother, you getting me now?

Yes.

Well, if he doesn't follow his commands then he will be punished. How? In dunia, only Allah knows how he will punish him. But after death, there will be Azab of Qabar first and then Jahannum (may Allah save us all from Jahannum).

Do istighfar.

Imaan decreases if you fail these tests and it increases if you stand fast through these trials and tests.

Read the Holy Qur'an! It not only illustrates the reward and punishments of the Hereafter, but also of this Dunya.

Allah says:

As for the one who turns away from My message, he shall have a straitened life, and We shall raise him blind on the Day of Judgment.”He will say, “My Lord, why did you raise me blind while I was sighted?” He will say, “In the similar manner as Our signs came to you, and you had ignored them. In the same way you will be ignored today.”

ok, akhi.. in fact this verse was in my mind so I asked that what will happen after that failure,

And if We had willed, we could have elevated him thereby, but he adhered [instead] to the earth and followed his own desire. So his example is like that of the dog: if you chase him, he pants, or if you leave him, he [still] pants. That is the example of the people who denied Our signs. So relate the stories that perhaps they will give thought.[Al-Qur'an 7:176]

NO Brother, Not All the life ignoring His message but just One trial i am asking about, like if a person do worship, dhikar and have strong faith in Allah but still he finds his love less in his heart than Allah so what will happen to him...

How does he find out that his love is less for Allah?

Sister, to ocassionally commit a mistake (i.e. a sin) is normal and except for the Prophets there is no human sinless. But you have to repent and get back on track, and not lose hope in Allah's Mercy and Forgiveness:

As for those who avoid the [truly] grave sins and shameful deeds - even though they may sometimes stumble behold, thy Sustainer is abounding in forgiveness. He is fully aware of you when He brings you into being out of dust, and when you are still hidden in your mothers’ wombs: do not, then, consider your*selves pure - [for] He knows best as to who is conscious of Him." [53:32]

Read this Khutbah on the importance of seeking forgiveness from Allah ta'ala and repenting from sins. If you don't repent as soon as possible and persist in sinning, then the following Hadith in Tirmidhi describes what happens to your heart:

"Surely, when the servant commits a sin, a black dot appears on his heart. If he repents from it, his heart is polished clean. However, if he increases in the sin, the blackness continues to increase. That is the statement of Allah:

“No! But that which they used to commit has covered their hearts with rust.” [83:14]"

Reading the commentary of Ma'ariful Qur'an on this Surah will be very helpful as it also mentions a few punishments in this world.

A person might follow the Quran and Sunnah his whole life and just make one mistake and end up in Hell.

Another person who neglected Islam his whole life, but due just a single good deed might enter Jannah.

If you are talking about the trails and tribulations of the life before death. Then have in mind the problems we face in our life is not according to our deeds. The Prophets who were closest to Allah went to the most difficult trails. Sometimes the most evilest person also suffer do their bad deeds. Sometime Hypocrites are given wealth and luxury. Sometimes good people are rewarded well in this world itself.

It All upto Allah . We cannot predict anything. But have this in mind He is Ar-Rehmaan, Ar-Raheem. So always have hope in him. Allah's Mercy precedes his Wrath.

Allah knows best.

if it was not less then would he ever fail the trial? would he ever prefer his Nafs over His wish?

this is something... we should really be worried about our Iman and our end
yes, true we will get to know on the last day that whether we pleased Allah or not.
so even if we do good deeds still we should be worried for our faith.
Good to know.

Not fully related to the topic in discussion. But still, some wise words:

“All humans are dead except those who have knowledge;
and all those who have knowledge are asleep, except those who do good deeds;
and those who do good deeds are deceived, except those who are sincere;
and those who are sincere are always in a state of worry.”
