Assalamu Alaykum

Does anybody on the forum know where one can purchase Arabic books from in South Africa?Specifically works on Tafseer,Fiqh & Hadith (commentaries,original texts etc).

Any contact details will be appreciated.

Mufti Husain is definetly the one to get hold of. Mufti Saheb gets the best books from the Arab world and is fully aware of the different prints which is a big plus.

Don't forget NeelwaFurat. It has huge shipping costs (the shipping cost me more than the price of the books!), but it's selection appears to be pretty good.

, I guess we can be sure of quality from him in terms of content.

What kind of paper quality are they using? Are their prints subcontinent quality, or Arab quality?

I have been purchasing from Mufti saheb since 07 and i have never had any issues. Some titles have better quality paper then others.

Definitely no subcontinent poor quality prints. You can inquire from the Bookshop before purchasing if you have any reservations about the quality of any of the books.
