EDITOR'S NOTE: MY HEART'S ACCOUNT (Courtesy Ubqari Magazine, August-2011)
By: Editor - Hakeem Mohammad Tariq Mahmood Chughtai Email: contact@ubqari.org (www.ubqari.org) A few days back, a troubled gentleman came to me, and said “I am extremely worried, there used to be a time when I was rich, worldly riches surrounded me; but everything has been lost. Allah Subhan O Wa Tallah took it from me. Indeed the One who gave me those in first places took them back. I tried numerous tactics, visited many people but it was all a futile effort. Someone told me of you that you give Amaal to practice, tell me something that I get out of these financial crisis and hardships”. I told him of an Amal; that I am also sharing with you. Do try it, and if you want its benefit to be spread over your life make it a part of your life (a habit). However if you would like to practice it only for a short while then make sure you do it religiously. Amal is: - Start giving Salam (As Salam O Alaikum, Muslim greetings whenever you pass or meet someone) to individuals who are inferior to you in the world, laborers, financially crippled, people without any status in our society. And do the Salam just like you do it to a Head of a State. When you will give them Salam with such an honor, his heart will return you with precious prayers. As by custom it was his duty to greet you and say Salam to you and it was the right of the rich to be greeted by him. And thus for him giving greetings was his cardinal responsibility. And when someone will greet him with such an honor and prestige his heart will return heartily prayers for him. The reply of a Salam (Muslim greetings) is in essence a prayer (Wa Alaikum us Salam) but this time it reaches the skies. And that is the key to your problems, worries and hardships. I made him understand this Amal, and he left. After sometime he returned and said that I was rescued from such a source that I could never think of; and my problems and hardships ended through it. And I believe that it is the result of some poor person’s prayers that he blessed me as a reply to my Salam (greetings). Dear Readers! In this chapter I write to you my heart’s feelings, my inner sentiments and deeply felt accounts. You should try them, and you definitely try them, that is why I get huge amount of mails from my readers with their experiences and observations of these Amaal. (All articles posted on Sunniforum.com are in essence translations from the Ubqari Monthly Magazine published from Lahore, Pakistan in Urdu Language by The Ubqari Institute). |
