Default What does 'AUTHENTIC' means in Islam?
In the name of Allah, the most merciful

More than 1400 years have passed and yet the religion of Allah still stays alive among muslim ummah. Today in this century we do not have any book other than Quran about whom Allah s.w.t has given the stamp of authentication, but still when we go the lectures of great scholars we hear them saying "to follow real islam. follow Quran and Sunnah, the sunnah of Prophet s.a.w which is described in AUTHENTIC hadith books.

I ask my friends to help me in defining what is Authentic, so i follow the authentic sunnah.

JazakAllah

I doubt if it exits on this WAHABI forum First of all this is not a Wahabi forum, and it is starting to get annoying when people come and describe us as something we are not and expect us to remain silent. We can engage in very many intellectual types of discussions. Unfortunately the people who come sometimes here wish to post one Hadith and make fun of the proper explanation given to that Hadith, then ridicule our scholars, and then expect us to still treat them kindly.

Note that some of us will still try as much as we can to treat everyone as respectfully as possible, but we are generally not here for answering rhetorical questions, and if we sense that someone is simply here for making fun and taunting us, we will treat in the same manner, as this is allowed in the Islamic Shariah in order to avoid unwanted Fitnah.

Look at yourself. you gave long sermon over this is not wahabi forum which infact it is, but you failed to write even a single line regarding what has been asked in the thread. Same by previous user Umar Itlay.

If you do not know the answer what is authentic then sit tight and observe and learn.

I do not say that your question is illogical or bad but brother it is out of context. Make a thread with title ' effects of shia books on muslims' and i will definitely speak about it. But please lets stick to what i have asked here.

Dear Brother,
You can call me a Wahhabi two three times-I'll not feel bad. No I am not a Wahhabi.
There are people who want to call me bidati. They can do that two three times. No, I am not a bidati.
You see we are covered from two sides. Personally I find that cozy and reassuring. It is rather obvious indication of being on the middle path.

And I also have the answer for the thing that you are looking for. I doubt that you'll like that. Since I love you as a brother in deen I'll still give you the answer. Here it is.
Wassalam

PS: I understand that you might disagree with me-I am fine with that.

Please realize the value of this month and refrain from useless debates for the next 3 weeks at least. Less arguments means less moderation for us to do.

@ Br Maripat and others, please just report the posts and they will be deleted/closed. Someone has a fitting quote of Sayyadina Ali in their sig, something along the lines of 'I never argued with a fool and won.'
