Asalamu Alaikum and Ramadan Mubarak. Recently I have had a few issues to deal with regarding Islam and I feel that this is one of the most important right now, which is making da'wah to my family. To illustrate, I recently found out about the prohibition of pictures, specifically that angels do not enter a house in which images of antimate beings are hanging. I have told my parents about this and of course provided the evidence for it e.g. hadith and that they are authentic as they from sahih al-bukhari. The response I got was that there is no way it's authentic and that it is 'weak' without them showing any proof for it. The reason this is a major concern for me is that I have heard that salat in a room with pictures will not be accepted and the only progress I've made is removing pictures that were in front of me during salah.

Any advice is appreciated, jazakallah khayran.
