Dear All,

It is commonly seen; two brothers or once two very close friends become strangers as if they never know each other.

This happens because despite their good relationships some bitter things happen between them and they become angry. And it creates a gap between them and slowly that gap widens and keeps widening and we see they are now strangers to each other.

Just like a river when it splits and we see two rivers and never think, they were once a single river. For example, see the rivers in Punjab, they split into five rivers from a single source and then they unite into a one river again into river Sindh.

Our Prophet (sws) has taught us not to estrange your brother for more than 3 days. If we will estrange our brothers or close relatives for more than 3 days, then Satan will take advantage of it and split us forever.

Hadith:

Prophet (sws) said

It is not permissible for a Muslim to remain angry with their brother for more than three days.

[Bukhari, Al-Adab 57-58]
