It is not allowed to call anyone a shaheed, unless there is proof from Quraan and Sunnah. Because only Allaah knows what is in a person's heart and only He knows the Unseen. But you can say "Shaheed insha Allaah".

As for Lal Masjid, they didn't have proper knowledge about how to behave and call the people toward righteousness. They used methods that are not allowed, like kidnaping people and defying the government orders. Had they sought advice from the Ulamaa, it would have been better for them. Unfortunately a big tragedy happened, but it should teach us a very important lesson to follow the advice of Ulamaa.

And what is your source of knowledge and how do you know what they did or didn't know?

Now here is the point you said that they were accused for defying order of government but bro if government does not full fill responsibilities than i have heard from Ulla ma that if you possess the power you need to stop that sin and bad things..............

Sure. But that is only for some things. For example, no ordinary person even if he has the witnesses and evidene can establish the hudood penalties. Only the Government has this authority according to Shari'ah. If the government is failing in their duties in this matter, then they will answer to Allaah for it, it is not our responsibility.

Lal Masjid people in particular did lot of wrong things like taking hostages and illegally occupying property, and refusing the government orders to stop their actions.

Please let the brother reveal his source of information and why he thinks what he thinks before his "issues" can be addressed!

I went to School from across the street and I also read, speak and write Urdu fluently to understand the point of view of Ulama and others "first hand" lets see what enlightment this brother will bring to the subject.

I will only reveal my source of information if you deny the following facts:

i. Lal Masjid people and Jamia Hafsa ladies illegally occupied a library

ii. They kidnapped some Chinese people

iii. They refused to lay down their weapons and cease their illegal activities when the government ordered them to do so

If you deny these three facts, only then will I reveal the source of information. Because if you don't deny it, what's the point of revealing the source of information?

The reason we have to check our sources is BECAUSE Allah (SWT) commanded us to:

يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِن جَآءَكُمۡ فَاسِقُۢ بِنَبَإٍ۬ فَتَبَيَّنُوٓاْ أَن تُصِيبُواْ قَوۡمَۢا بِجَهَـٰلَةٍ۬ فَتُصۡبِحُواْ عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلۡتُمۡ نَـٰدِمِينَ

[49:6] O you who believe, if a sinful person brings you a report, verify its correctness, lest you should harm a people out of ignorance, and then become remorseful on what you did.

This is TWICE in TWO DAYS you have tried to SPIN LIES on this forum!

Well I think Hadhrat Imam Hussain made a mistake to fight against Yazeed
You should be BANNED because you have no points and nothing COHERENT to add to any discussions, except UTTER TRASH!

So are you denying those three facts I mentioned? Or are you saying there is no proof about it? Either case I will show you the proof

Allah (SWT) has taught us in the qur'aan which news to believe and which news to reject. Basically we don't trust the Media UNTIL the news is verified by sound and practising Muslims.

So first we need to check and ascertain "our source of information" when it concerns our Muslim Brothers & Sisters.

There is a lot of disinformation out there, propaganda and so we need to clean up the background noise, filter out the dis-information and believe ONLY what is verified.

Brother,

We say that those who died the Deen of Allah (SWT) are Shaheed . Innocent children were gunned down in PURE BRUTALITY by Pak-Army and they are going to Jannah.

There are plenty of people here who were local and saw and witnessed what went on.
