Also keep in mind that it won't be so easy to come and find Hazrat Mahdi just like that. Only 7 'Ulama from all around the world will be able to do that. His signs even though explained clearly in Ahadith, but they won't be so clear. It will be very difficult to find him.

It's not like Galaxy of Ulama e Haq coming to find him. Nothing like that. There will be severe bloodshed in Mina just before his appearance.

Mufti 'Abdur Rahman's Duroos [plural of dars/lesson] on the Dajjal & Imam Mahdi is an excellent reminder of our purpose in life.

It talks about dajjal and Imam Mahdi in detail.

When the Ulama will recognize Imaam Mahdi, the Mahdi will try to stay away from those 7 'Ulamaa. He will travel to some other place [I think its Madinah]. And the Ulama will follow him and this will go for few more times [going to Madinah/Makkah back and forth] until at last he will be found in the Haram and bay'ah will be given and people will finally know about him.

The 'Ulama will first recognize him in Makkah Haram. They'll come to him and ask him, Are you Muhammad bin Abdullah? He'll say No i'm a Ansari for fear that he'll be made the Ameer. Then he'll run away to Madinah. The 'Ulama will come to Madinah and find him. He'll again run from there to Makkah.

The 'Ulama will come back to Makkah and find him atlast at Multazam. He will be crying there, making dua to Allah to help the Ummah. The 'Ulama will come and ask him to take Bay't and become Ameer. He'll decline. They'll say, you have to become Ameer or else the Sin of all the Ummah being oppressed will be on you! He will say, If that's the case then come let's make a pledge till Death!

Then a voice from the sky will come that this is Khalifatullahi fi al-ardh Al-Mahdi!

while the coming of Imam Mahdi(as) is a good news to the ummah, but that also signifies the coming of dajjal Laknatullah. And I am most worried about the strength of my eeman and my family's eeman in guarding against the fitnah of the one eyed dajjal (and I seek refuge in Allah() from shaytan and the fitnah of the one eyed dajjal ).

Looking at our times, currently is the year of 2011 or Hijiri 1432. From the time of our beloved Prophet() until now, the ummah don't have the khilafat that protects us for 87 years now. And all the signs are pointing to the coming of Imam Mahdi(as); tribulations in egypt, shams, iraq, khorasan, abayan-aden in yemen. Also regarding a hadith about the coming of a khilafat by the method of prophethood after a period of oppressive rule (military regimes, etc).

I have another interesting story to share. Remember about the words of Quran were lifted from the mushaf around the world in the 90's? A friend of mine knew one ustadzah whom literally saw the words were lifted in front of her eyes while she was reading Quran from the mushaf, .

And looking back at what's happening around us, the signs are pretty clear;

- Allah has mentioned in the Quran should the muslims ignore Islam, better people will be chosen to implement Islam and to replace the previous muslims. , look at how our new revert brothers and sisters, and the convictions they have.

- The feminist movement is getting stronger and stronger day by day, and the women of feminism movement will be following the one-eyed dajjal Laknatullah in numbers.

- Ahmedinejad's office has given donations for a synagogue in isfahan a few years back when the jews there rejected an offer from israel's prime minister to migrate to israel.

Also, looking at all the most important battles/war that involved muslims from the time of our Prophet(), almost all the muslims army were outnumbered and the weapons were not as good as the enemy. That's almost certainly is the case should Imam Mahdi(as) come tomorrow.

There was even a documentary on it on a national television in Malaysia in 2005.

One owner one day found that 4 pages of the mushaf was 'emptied' (from juzk 13), and she reads the Quran regularly for 40 years. That's one of among other incidents that I know of. The one that I mentioned about one ustadzah who literally saw the words disappearing, she lives about 300+ km to the south from the above owner.
