As-Salamu alaikum,

For someone on the Deobandi Maslak it is almost impossible to find a Murshid Shaikh in Scandinavia / Northern Europe...

Instead we often look to the U.K., as it seems you have plenty of Mashaikh there, masha'Allah. Also, plane tickets to the U.K. are not that expensive, al-hamdulillah.

Meanwhile, could some of our U.K. based brethren perhaps suggest Mashaikh who are easily accessible (by phone, email etc.), as it is hard for outsiders to decide where to turn...

Masha'Allah I have heard of Hazrat and listened to some of his bayans online, but wasn't sure if he accepted murids who live abroad and/or if he was easily accesible.

I think it depends... If you're in Sweden and close to Stockholm / Uppsala then he would easy to find and benefit from. He also teaches one of the free Euro-Sunni courses, if I am not mistaken.

On the other hand I've heard from a murid of his that he can be difficult to catch on the phone and seldom has time to reply to emails - wa Allahu a'lam.

Mawlana Muhammad Muslim (hafizhahu'Allah) holds regular dhikr sessions in Stockholm, and he is also the Khatib and leads Salat al-Jum´ah (unless his status has changed recently). He is active in da´wah, but al-hamdulillah he has time when needed
