Default Why do salafis not wear a topi?
We see so many salafi brothers with full beard and long jubba, but no topi or headgear. why are they against the topi?
is it not sunnat according to them or what?

As we say in India: "Woh doosron ko topi pehnate hain"
Translation: They put the cap on others' heads.

I have asked them, they say there are certain actions that the porphet salallahu alayhi wassalam did out of culture and times, and he never instructed us of a reward or anything for it.

such as using camels, mud houses, hair coverings etc.

they believe you still get reward for your intentio to immitate the prophet as love for him is ibaadah in itself, however, they consider it to be a shariah act.

i think its an issue of permissable difference. they dont consinder the thobe to be sunnah either, they consider it to be haraam to wear western clothes and tight clothes and so they take the thobe, hwoever there is no harm in shalwar ckhamees or any other clothing that meets shariah conditions and doesnt resemble the kafir culture.

the beard is an obligation due to a command to leave it so thats different.

i wouldnt worry too much, inshallah you can wear your kufi an dleave them to not wear theirs
