Default Sharh al-Sawi ala Jawhara al-Tawhid
السلام عليكم

Does anyone here know who has published Sharh al-Sawi ala Jawhara al-Tawhid of Shaykh Ahmad Sawi? I'd like a recommendation on a good edition.

شرح الصاوي على جوهرة التوحيد

So far I've found the edition published Dar Ibn Kathir (Beirut & Damascus). (Download here. Buy here.)

Does anyone know of any other editions?

Jazak Allah

Edit: I suppose I should have posted this in Islamic Education.

Walikumassalam wrtwb.

Do you have Tuhfatul Mureed which is Imam Bajuri's Sharh on Jawhara? I think that is used more if im not mistaken, but to answer your question im not sure but i will find out from my teacher inshaallah.

I do have Tuhfah al-Murid in pdf format. However, I'm currently studying the Jawharah from a shaykh who is mostly relying on the sharh of Shaykh Ahmad al-Sawi, and I thought it would be helpful to have a printed edition. I'm not a big fan of reading files long term on the computer.

Jazak Allah, please get back to me with what you find out.

From what I've been able to gather online, there are no other printed editions besides that of Dar Ibn Kathir; the pdf I have of it looks fine too. Unless someone can recommend an edition that has some advantages over it, I'll probably end up purchasing this ed.

The sharh of Imam as-Sawi is simpler and easier to teach from. I quite like it. The PDF looks fine -- the teacher should be reading the Arabic too, so just correct any mistakes; that's how books become valuable.

Sheikh al-Sawi's commentary definitely seems easier than Bajuri's sharh...The muhaqqiq is also a leading contemporary 'Ashari scholar right?

I believe it's by Shaykh 'Abd al-Fattah al-Bazm (or Bizm?), the Grand Mufti of Damascus. I really do not know anything about him; perhaps someone here has some biographical details?
