Default Concern when reading quran
Slaam
so i have purchased a nice tajweed quran (http://islamicindia.in/ViewItem.php?ItemID=754)
which i found at a local shop

i have found that if you go to surah 30 verse 54. it is pronounced "daAAfin" ( ضَعْفٍ)
however in this quran it is "duAAfin" (ضُؔعۡفٍ )

i have just realised that the quran is a indo/pak script rather than uthmani script - why is there a slight change ?

will this be a problem?

jazakallah khair

Walaikum Salam

The word ضَعْف is allowed to be read with either a fatha or a dhammah of dhad in the three occurences of this word in ayah 54 in surah Al Rum . We must read either all of them with a fatha, or all of them with a dhammah, when reciting the ayaah.

That which needs to be observed for Hafs an Asim by the way of Ash Shaatibiyyah
Tajweed Rules of the Quran
Kareema Czerepinski I think there is usually a note on the side, in arabic, explaining this as well.
