I would like to know if anyone is clued up with regards to recording live audio streaming on the internet. What software is the best in this regard? Also what is the audio quality and size of files?

plz download vlc media player and then open live streaming in it then open advance option in player,there is record option in itlast time when shaikh zulfiqar naqshbandi db was here,we rcorded all bayan with this

Also, I wanted to ask you... Why you dont have bayanat from South Africa by South African Ulama as well as overseas Ulama that are visiting? Kindly advise.

good question about african uleema bayanat
so 1 thing is that i have no personal contacts in sa,so i cant get bayaanat regularly
2nd thing is that only 1 or 2 website like masjid noor and mo.yunus patel's site upadating regularly and we need regularly bayanat,after delivering bayan we need it in 1 or 2 day.
1 more thing is that i m so busy here with teaching in darululm and working on website,so its difficult to add new speaker

Personally, I use Goldwave for this; Audacity which is simpler would work too. However, your sound card must support as an output source the audio being outputted to your speakers. This source is often called "What-U-Hear" or "Stereo Mix"... it is somewhat convoluted to enable such a source in Windows Vista/7, but I can help you if needed.

Personally, I use Goldwave for this; Audacity which is simpler would work too. However, your sound card must support as an output source the audio being outputted to your speakers. This source is often called "What-U-Hear" or "Stereo Mix"... it is somewhat convoluted to enable such a source in Windows Vista/7, but I can help you if needed.

You can also use the "WAVE" output source, if it works . The quality is usually better than the "What-U-Hear" setting.

Maulana Saheb I am going to make some effort and see if it is possible to get in touch with people that will be able to record bayanat and for you to upload on your site. Perhaps the other brothers from SOuth Africa on the forum can also help. I see you have good contacts in UK and you can build the same in here. we have many bayanat and also many international Ulama. For eg. in the past week Moulana Makki, Shaykh Zulfikar, Moulana Salim Qasmi, etc..

I will try out and see which one works best for me I downloaded FreeCorder from applan which installs on the browser as a toolbar. Will test and post results
