Are you sure about that Mufti saheb? From what I have understood from the writings of ulama is that wet wiping is not sufficient to purify. It actually spreads the impurity ... You should keep a small bottle of water to use for your Istinja. If bottle is not available wiping with the wet tissue will suffice. |

Mention is not made in the askimam question about the impurity going beyond the point of exit by more than a dirham.
Wet paper: "As for using wet toilet paper, this is a problem because it spreads filth, and does not fulfill the condition of “stones” or toilet paper" http://seekersguidance.org/ans-blog/...emoving-filth/ ![]() |

Are you sure about that Mufti saheb? From what I have understood from the writings of ulama is that wet wiping is not sufficient to purify. It actually spreads the impurity ... If it is more than one dirham, water or a flowing substance has to be used. Wet tissue or wipes when squeezed actually do cause a flow of water or liquid so instead of wiping the urine off, it's best to squeeze the tissue/wipe so the water/liquid comes out and it cleans away the urine. So squeeze the tissue paper so the water comes out and don't just merely wipe it off. Is that good enough? ![]() |

Salam
yes i have a few emergencies in my day. and wet tissue will spread filth. the way to avoid this is to first wipe with dry tissue but don't take large strokes cos then your spreading stuff, take small ones and only in the area where stuff exits (assuming we are speaking of number 2). then use wet tissue in excess. obviously try to have a disposable water bottle at work place etc. and only wash after having used dry tissues cos water bottles only provide a limited supply of water. there have been times when i bought a bottle of water and quickly drank it only out of a desire to use it as a "lota"...true story. |
