Whereever i go for a bayan or taskheel, i almost ALWAYS mention the following two points ..

Tableeghi Jamaat has unparalleled success in taking people from all walks of life and giving them a chance of turning their life around and it is the most accessible system of reformation open for everyone in our times.

The second highly effective feature of Tableeghi Jamaat is that its “sect-free” i.e. you can be Sufi, Hanafi, Maliki or a Salafi and still be part of it. Again apart from Jihad there is no such movement in the world, today!.

These are exactly the two best features of tableegh work. You took the words right from my mouth.

Most importantly Tableeghi Jamaat provides the “collective” locally for people to belong and being dragged along when they are down.

and i would say that this is one of the main features and benefits of this work, that it keeps a person flowing along, and keeps the person connected to the deen no matter what situation he may be in.

It reminds me of a talk by Molana Ibrahim Devla, he gave a example to the nearest effect, " that this effort of tabligh is like a stream flowing along, that no matter what filth is in it the water still remains pure for you to do wudhu from it"

Self correction is the ultimate. But Alhamdulillah the ummah is getting benefited.

In India, post independence, the weeks after the demolition of Babri Masjid were the toughest, it was not salah, zakah, or saum which was in danger, the IMAAN of the millions of muslims was in danger. (this is not guloo, Wallah), everyone has witnessed, Allah SWT chose Tableeg jamaath to handle this situation.

If the members of any Islamic movement are not giving up usury-inflicted practises , then such a movement is a great failue. Moreover, such a movement will get covert support

I have heard Ahadith condemning usury being read out from the Mimbar at Raiwind Markaz with my own ears. There are probably Millions of people who left usury due to this effort. (Elders don't keep a record of that.)

It's emphasized by strong encouragement towards living a life of halal earnings and eating halal and pure foods as mentioned in the Qur'an and Sunnah. When a person starts to practice from that encouragement, then he'll be very particular about his income/business dealings and what food he consumes.
