Default Pets and Prayer?
Salaam,

1.After doing wuzu and drying yourself, if a person touches a dry cat or the cat comes into contact with the person's clothes and DOES NOT leave any hair, will the wuzu be valid? If this happens during prayer, will the prayer be valid?

2.If the cat is dry and it leaves 'some hair' on your hands or clothes, in this second case will your wuzu be valid??

What do you mean by Najis?? could you be a bit more clear.
Do you mean if it is wet, dusty or dirty?

Also if the cat is wet and you touch it or it leaves some wet hair on you, does this make you unclean i.e the person will have to take a bath to be pure and clean or just the wuzu if any done will be void??

Assalamualaikum

Cats are pure(paak). So your wudhu is not impacted whatsoever by cat's hair.

your still good to go, your wudhu is intact sister. I don't understand why it would affect wudhu even if the meat you are giving is not halal. Just a scenario... lets say you gave your cat pork and it got on your hands, you would just need to wash your hands to remove the filth from that area but how would would it break the wudhu? Similar to if a dog licked you, that does not mean that your wudhu broke, you just need to wash that area where it licked you.

Bad feelings are waswasas and waswasas are from Shaytaan and we are forbidden to follow Shaytaan refer to Surah Naas.

I guess it depends on which madhab, if any, you follow. As far as I've been told, in the Maliki madhab, it's a non-issue, as long as there are no impurities on said hair (even if it's dog hair).

JazakALLAH.

I've heard from people that the whiskers of cats need to be trimmed if you keep it as a pet. Is this true??
As far as I know, the whiskers of a cat are sensors and they need them.

Its just that I've heard from some people that if the whiskers get long the cat does not remain paak or something..
As I said earlier, Cats need them so I don't think they should be trimmed.

Can anyone else verify this.
