![]() Long time Sealskinz user ![]() I want to share a good practical advice regarding the SealSkinz socks. If they stink due to prolonged use, and you don't want to wash them, then stuff cat litter inside normal white socks and make them wear the SealSkinz socks for 12 hours. The smell will be gone! The same thing works on shoes. Just make the cat litter-stuffed socks wear the stinky shoes for 12 hours and you don't have to buy new shoes. Just saved you 50 bucks, you welcome. ![]() |

![]() I too use the Sealskinz often. However I have to say if you wear throughout the day your feet get very warm. For me its bothersome, but some people maybe ok with that. However they are comfortable in shoes, boots etc. However they have an issue that I wanted to point out. They seem to look like they are very old, very quickly. Mine I have worn maybe in total 30 days, and the threads are coming out like how they do on an old wool sweater.. maybe its b/c I washed them in a washing machine ! but anyways, yes they are great ! :sub: |

![]() I wanted to ask those with sealskinz this question .. as my pair have gotten older... I noticed they may not qualify for one of the minimum qualities that make them suitable for masah. 1) they are getting loose, in sense of overall fitting, and perhaps b/c of this may allow water to permeate... 2) they dont stand up on its own anymore as they did when they were new.. any thoughts from the brothers? for some reason the good quality leather socks are still my favorite.. |

For example a Hanafi Brother wears normal socks all day and when he needs to go to the Toilet (at work) he changes to these, then does his Wudhu with Masah and prays and because his next Salah will at home he switches to his normal socks again. When he needs to lead Jummuah he switches to Leather socks as there are Brothers who don't agree with Sealskinz Masah (Malikees etc.) so he looks after his Musalees and respects their Fiqh.
