Default shirk
salaam, i was just thinking, and while the issue of becoming a mureed and being prescribed things to say lots of times, may be disliked by salafis, its not a big issue. Deobandis and salafis really can overlook differences like that inshallah and leave each to his own.

But i think the main issue why some salafis are incredibly weary of deobandis, is due to their slighty weak stance on shirk.

We all agree that if there is one thing that has zero tolerance in islam, its shirk. This is the most detested thing to allah. So we should hate this more than anything else. Salafis and deobandis are two of the main non mushrik groups in the muslimm ummah right now and their wala and bara should be based on tawheed.

So why are excuses made for the likes of ibn arabi, and big monuments that are built over grave stones Etc. Wallahi i wish the deobandi movement would free themselves completely of these things, and outright reject them and hate them for the sake of allah. What is the point in all that devotional worship and love for islam if your not going to get angry over shirk? Surely you should agree with the salafis who knock down graves. Maybe its fair to say they do it in an unwise manner, and perhaps you think they should use more wisdom in ridding the ummah of these tawagheet, and thats a fair comment if u think that, but surely we should hate those shrines for the sake of allah and our unity should revolve around us not sharing our worship with other than allah, tawheed is the pinnacle of islam so there is no principle more worthy ofuniting upon than tawheed of worship as this was the main message of all prophets.

Also what is the deobandi position on the burdah?

Inshallah i hope we can unite upon tawheed and respect our small differences on issues lesser than tawheed

Qasida Burda - Is it true that there is blatant shirk in many parts of the Qasida Burda? (Edited)

Muhiyyudin Ibn Arabi, What do classical scholars say about him and is it advisable to stay away from his books?
