God specifically tells us to "dress modestly", and never even mentions the word 'hijab' in his book. Hijab was only mentioned in a hadith, which's authencity raises the doubt of many people. I think that if hijab was really that important, then God would have mentioned it in his holy book and not left it for people to discover while coinsedentaly collecting haddiths 300 years after the prophets death.

Can you quote all the ayaats of the quran and also the explanation of them relating to this subject please, as i do not know them therefore i cannot make an educated opinion on this subject.
