No, I haven't heard of him before, until someone mentioned him in jamaat.

I checked his website where it was written Shaykh Sulaiman Moola completed his Hifzul Qur’an at the age of 14 in the year 1989, thereafter continued his studied for 7 years in the field of Tafseer, Hadeeth, Fiqh, Aqaaid, & the Arabic language. Sheikh is presently a Lecturer/Ustaadh in Johannesburg/South Africa where he resides with his family. I just wanted to make sure since a person can study from anywhere for 7 years..

Mawlana Sulaiman Moola just delivered the Jumah Bayaan in the Markazi Masjid on his tour of the country. I have never had the chance to see Mawlana in front of me before. Mawlana is very young, but very knowledgeable and eloquent. He was absolutely amazing. His 30 mins speech flown by like 30 secs. the Shaykh will be making a longer bayaan this evening after Esha.

Alhamdulilah, South Africa has produced a number of brilliant scholars across the years. Mawlana Sulaiman Moola is definitely one of those. Others that come to mind at the moment are: Mawlana Sulaiman Kathani, Mufti Ebrahim Desai, Mawlana Shabbir Saloojee, Mawlana Abdul Hameed, Mufti Afzal Hossein, among so many others. And of course, our own SF Ulemas from S.A.

May Allah keeps us in company of these pious people and grant all of them long life. Ameen!

Shaykh Sulaiman Moola, as the members mentioned above, is a very powerful and knowledgabe scholar. His lectures overflow with knowledge. From what I have heard he has photographic memory and it is evident in his talks. His arabic is fluent and beautiful. He is well travelled as well especially Canada and USA.

Alhumdulillah we in South Africa are blessed with many great Ulama. The few names mentioned above are just the tip of the iceberg.

May Allah make the Ulama guiding lights for us. And may we have correct adab towards them.

Wallah! I love the Ulama for the sake of Allah. May thisbe the means of my entry into Jannah. Amin!

Aww Brother,

Shaykh Sulaiman Moola is an outstanding scholar of our times, may Allah give barakah in his ilm, health and wealth.

JazkaAllah for the post - Just to enquire which country do you reside? - The reason I ask is you mention in your post that Shaykh is on his tour of the country.
