Default Domestic Violence - Against Men
Salams,

I can picture the expression on your faces when you saw this thread....

There are many men out their who are abused physically/mentally and verbally every day.

Is it just me that has encountered these men in life, or do you folks also know or have heard of men who are victims of domestic violence.

Men victims of abuse from who? From their father maybe.

But if there is a man who says he is the victim of abuse from his wife, he isn't much of a man....he is clown that everyone should laugh at.

From wives brother.....

Are you saying that if a wife is abusing a husband he should beat her up and show her who is boss?

No expressions, i know men also get abused. What kind of abuse are you talking about here and how can it be corrected?

Sadly, yes, there are men who are abused by their wife. No individual should be subjected to abuse. Men are often less likely to speak out about it due to the way they are then received in society. Some of the posts in this thread reflect it. If a man is abused he is perceived as being weak, not a man, etc. A lot of times a man does not even want to admit to himself that he is being abused. The reasons why men do not leave these marriages are often the same reasons as why women don't leave.

I see that you are a non Muslim. The problem is that in non-Muslim societies these days, boys are brainwashed by the education system to despise manliness and to believe that women are their partners and in many cases even superior to them. Whereas the teachings of our Holy Quraan is that men are incharge of women, and women are to be subservient to men.

Due to this brainwashing by the education system, men end up becoming too soft and afraid to be in control of their wife....as a result their wife takes advantage of this and the poor husband becomes a victim of "spousal abuse".... Sad but true....in the Muslim world it is something laughable

Right on the dot ! : D

Not that I am against polygamy, I accept it as a sunnah and I respect thse people who undertake this mission BUT ! I am so tired of polygamy everywhere on SF. Its almost to the point I dont want to come on SF anymore. Id rather not get tortured and read something beneficial elsewhere, soemthing in complete english.

One reminder: Esp for me and then others: SF is not a hangout lounge where you create threads and act like you own them. Keep in mind, anything you type goes out to the entire world with many many people reading it. And you will be judged for it.

Talk about propaganda.

This thread is about domestic violence against men. Please don't comment on other things.

How is it laughable?

Sometimes a girl gets married 'back-home' and when her husband comes here to the UK, the husband is treated inferior with abuse and even sometime violence, who does the husband of that woman turn to? he has nobody and he thinks because she has a red passport (british) she can cause more damage i.e. jail and that. Im not saying all women who get married back-home are like this, but there are a few cases like this - being a witness to a few.

Brother your attitude is not good and it needs to change, honestly.
