Assalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh Wednesday 6 July 2011 | 5 Sha'baan 1432 AH Clarification Of Sheikh Ahmad's Chain-Letter By Shaykh Muhammad Saleem Dhorat hafizahullah The Renowned Islamic Scholar And Spiritual Mentor Shaykh-ul- Hadith - Islamic Dawah Academy - Leicester http://idauk.org/publications/leaflet01.html A number of my Muslim friends have sent copies of a letter titled Message for all Muslims sent by Sheikh Ahmad from Mecca and have asked me to clarify its Shar'ee position based on the Qur'aan and Hadeeth. Thus I begin in the name of Allah the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. THE TEXT OF THE MESSAGE The message sent by Sheikh Ahmad reads as follows: http://idauk.org/publications/leaflet01.html Sheikh Ahmad sent these words saying that on the Friday he fell asleep whilst reading the Holy Qur'aan and in his sleep our Nabi Mohammed sallallahu alayhi wasallam came to him and said that from last Friday to the next 6,000 People died and between them there wasn't one believer. The world we live in is deteriorating a lot. The writer then follows this by narrating how he heard in his sleep, the Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam mention a few of the sins which are being committed by the People of this age and thereafter describing some signs of the Day of Judgement (Qiyaamah). The message then continues by saying: The person who makes a copy of this and sends it to our Muslim brothers, Allah will help him. If he is a sick person, Inshallah (God willing) he will be healed. If he is a Person with a lot of worries then Allah will also help him to solve his problems. Sheikh Ahmad said that all that is written is the Pure truth. If it isn't he promises that he will die as a cafeer. SHAR'EE CLARIFICATION http://idauk.org/publications/leaflet01.html This is a summary of the falsehood and lie attributed to the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. I have been continuously hearing about this deceitful message which has spread amongst the Muslims in multitude numbers. The text of the message has various versions. Sometimes the message is conveyed by Sheikh Ahmad of Madeenah and sometimes by Sheikh Ahmad of Makkah. The claimant to this message is a liar as the message does not comply with the teachings of Qur'aan and Hadeeth. It is an accusation upon Allah and the Prophet ; hence every Muslim Believer must safeguard himself/herself from this type of nonsense. An intelligent person with inner-sight will at once recognise the falsehood of this message. I will present a few Shar'ee reasons to refute this claim of the distributor: (1) There is not a shadow of doubt that a person can actually see the Prophet, sallallahu alayhi wasallam in dream. It is stated in a Hadeeth: "One who saw me in a dream has indeed seen me,, because the Shaytaan cannot impersonate me." However the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam was the fountain of truth; thus, word of falsehood or anything contradictory to Sharee'ah cannot emerge from his auspicious mouth. But the contents of the message are totally in contradiction to Sharee'ah. How can one attribute such falsehood to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam? And how can one believe and accept such distortion? The Prophet ,sallallahu alayhi wasallam has warned: "One who attributes to me what I have not said, his Place of abode is Fire of Hell". Therefore, the one who has innovated this message and has distributed this falsehood should immediately turn towards Allah and repent. (2) Is this message more virtuous than the Glorious Qur'aan? To print and distribute Qur'aan is a virtuous and pious act, but does it in itself give guarantee of entering paradise without performance of fardh and good deeds? If not, then is this message so blessed that its effect is beyond the reach of the Glorious Qur'aan? (3) The message says: From last Friday to the next Friday 6000 people died and between them there wasn't one believer. This part of the message is from the knowledge of the unseen which no one possesses except Allah. Allah says: With Him (Allah) are the keys of the unseen. None knoweth them but He. (6..59) Say (0 Prophet of Muhammad!) I tell you not that with me are the Treasures of Allah, nor do I have knowledge of the unseen... (6.50) Say (0 Prophet Muhammad!) None in the heavens or on earth. except Allah knows what is hidden... (27..65) (4) The message also says: If someone makes at least 30 copies of this and gives them to their friends within 14 or 15 days he will see a change in his life. In Bombay a Person made 40 copies and Allah suddenly helped him, he made a Profit of 25, 000 rupees... This again is a clear lie. Many people who have printed and distributed this message not once but several times - have not gained the least benefit whatsoever. They still remain with the same worries and problems as before. A thousand distributions of the likes of this false message cannot and never wil1 benefit nor harm a true believer. CONCLUSION http://idauk.org/publications/leaflet01.html It is evident and clear that the Message sent by Sheikh Ahmad is baseless and has no Shar'ee proof. Therefore be cautious and beware of such seditious material. Consult the learned and Ulamaa with regard to any matter pertaining to Sharee'ah, so that you may safeguard your Imaan. Seek knowledge and through it's light, walk on the Straight Path. May Allah give us all the true understanding of deen and save us from all seditions. Aameen. http://idauk.org/publications/leaflet01.html |
