But before I end this discussion I want say that God loves men more, because they get extra rewards. You cant compair the love with the number. and what does extra rewards mean? only houris or something more? As you said you dont care about houris so you may wanna bring other thigns which are EXTRA for men and not for Woman. For example, do Allah love me more than Fatima(rd)? Obviously NOT. Its all about Taqwa and not the Gender, this is an accustation of atheist that Allah being Racist(nawdhubillah). Will you claim Allah loves me more because i am a Men but not same to Fatima(rd) because she is a woman? Do you beleive just because i am hanging out with houris that makes me more beloved by Allah and not Fatima(rd)? Sister, your whole post sounds and smells like you saying God being unjustice because He gives more to XYZ. and you are doing a great favour to Allah by accepting it! Sister watch out what satan whispers in your heart, may Allah save us all. |

The knowledge we have of the bounties of Jannah is very minute and little. 17 Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet, said, "Allah said, 'I have prepared for My pious worshipers such things as no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard of, and nobody has ever thought of. All that is reserved, besides which, all that you have seen, is nothing." Then he recited:-- 'No soul knows what is kept hidden (in reserve) for them of joy as a reward for what they used to do.' (32.17) [Bukhari] So the knowledge we have of what is in Jannah is nothing compared to what actually awaits a believing male and female in Jannah. May Allah cause us to die as muslims.May he grant us direct entry into Jannatul firdaws. aameen |

I didn't mean to slander God. You are misunderstanding me. I am just saying what occured in my mind. Sister Sudoku, I have mentioned at the very beginning of the thread that our prophet (SAW) was asked about the equivalent reward of houris for women. He replied that we will only get our pious husband. Besides, if a woman had more than one huband in the world, she is not allowed to take all of them with her. Doesn't this mean that we will get only one? Brother Abu Layl, I am not worried about the houris, but there are many women out there who are, like two of my friends. I am just speaking out for them here.

I am no longer worried about the houris. But before I end this discussion I want say that God loves men more, because they get extra rewards. Everyone agrees that men and women can worship God equally, even though women are exempted from worshipping Him in some cases, God doesn't take that into consideration. Finally brother Taliban, you are a man who is receiving extra rewards, so it won't be your headache . |

Brother Abu Layl, I am not worried about the houris, but there are many women out there who are, like two of my friends. I am just speaking out for them here. Know that houris are a specific matter, but none can say that Allah is giving extra things to men which is sign of Allah love men more. Allah didnt publish a chart or a list what man or woman will get. the hadith has mentioned only a single matter from 1000 matter of jannah, so none should judge via only this that Men will get more than woman in Jannah and its a sign of Allah loves men more than woman. know that Allah will satisfy us all and Allah loves who got more Taqwa. Sometimes numbers are mentioned to motivate the men, it shoudnt be the reason for woman to compair their jannah with the Jannah of man. |

Allah promises reward in jannah of beautiful mansions and beautiful clothing. Generally women of this world are more interested in this stuff rather than more than one husband. The point is that we will get everything we want in Jannah and we will be satisfied. In this world when a person has so many worldly things many times he/she is still not satisfied. Being satisfied with what you have is such a huge blessing of its own. We will realize this in Jannah. May Allah (SWT) unite us all there. Ameen.
I would definitely suggest we shouldn't compare ourselves to the opposite gender. Only Allah knows who sacrifices more on an individual level. Allah (SWT) will judge us based on our piety and devotion rather than gender. |

Assalam alaykum,
I have read that these pure beings in jannah that the Quran mentions can be both men and women. When it comes to descriptions of the pleasures of paradise, the Quran uses earthly pleasures as analogies, but there are higher pleasures we know not of in jannah. The highest pleasure will be the approval of our Lord. Wassalam |

The nature of men and woman are different so the rewards will be different.
You can't compare. For example, theres a writing competition and a man and woman both win. You give both of them this, thinking that both should be equal ... The woman will be happy, but the man? It's my personal opinion that both men and women does equally for God. And I don't have much that interest in clothes and stuff. Anyways, can you tell me why women has to stick with the last husband, if she marries more than one in this life? Why she is not given a choice? Sister, this just a question and not a slander to God. |

Anyways, can you tell me why women has to stick with the last husband, if she marries more than one in this life? Why she is not given a choice? Sister, this just a question and not a slander to God. If a woman had more than one husband(ie she married after her husband died) then she will be with the best of them. Umm-e-Salma (Radhiallaahu Anhu), asked, `A woman of this world married two, three or four husband in this world, then dies and enters Jannah with them, who will be her husband?' Nabi (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) answered, `O Umm-e-Salma (Radhiallaahu Anhu), she will be allowed to choose between them, so she will choose the one with the best character. She will say to Allah, O Allah, this husband displayed the best character to me in the world, so marry him to me.' Nabi (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) further added, `O Umm-e-Salma, good character has gained (for him) the excellence of this world and the hereafter.' [narrated by Tabrani vol.23 pg.367; ibn Kathir in his Tafseer under verse22 Surah56] Allah knows best. |
