Signs of A Magician

Don't be surprised to find a magician wearing a taub and with long white beard, tasbih one hand and mushaf in the other- it is only a disguise and a mockery of this deen.



1. If they ask for your mother's maiden name, date of birth, sweaty clothes, hair, blood, nails, hanker chief, then definitely avoid them, only sorcerers ask for that

Note: This is one definate way of exposing the sahir. the mother's name is compleatly useless to the raqi, where as a magician needs it because the jinns who work for him will ask him. Also measuring the length of a clothes to determine if the person is affected with jinn, magic or evil eye= using jinns

2. If they say they have righteous Jinn helping them, then leave them, there is absolutely no way to know if a Jinn is righteous or devil, it would be a devil tricking the exorcists or more common he is a sorcerer seeking devils help

Note: If a raqi does have muslim jinns helping him fight the kuffar jinns, then a raqi will not call the jinns for help or claim to have control over it, rather he will ask Allah to send the mujahideen jinns to kill the kafir jinn inside etc or the muslim jinns will come out of thier own accord.

3. If they write any symbols or unreadable text with or without some verses of the Quran, then leave them (taweez)

Note: Magician for sure.

4. If they use sands in anyway (writing on it, hitting it, walking over it, etc.)

Note: Weird irrational behavior

5. If they ask you to do weird things like slaughtering a black animal or carrying some talismans with you all the time or hiding them in far places

Note: At this point alarm bells should be ringing. If your not out the place by then, then u must have a mental illness or something!!!

6. If they don't attend the regular prayers at the Masjid, usually sorcerers like to be alone, so please ask about them in the Masjid before contacting them.

Note: Not necessarily true. i know a magican who is a mufti and imam of a masjid in Luton.

7. If they demand lots of money for their service, then leave them, usually righteous exorcists do this service for free and don't accept gifts in exchange, some of them however charge reasonable amount of money for their time to be able to help others

Note: Some magicians will say the more you pay me the "better" taweez i can give you, while others just ask you to leave a donation on your way out... both are worse as each other.

Use Hikmah and obviously not give out any information whatsoever. If I were you, I'd distance myself from such people. In fact, some sort of a creep lives in front of us. I am not saying that shes a magician but a really creepy person.

Don't worry sis, there are specific Duas from the Quran such as Ayatul kursi, surah Falaq, nas, Ikhlas etc against jinn, sihr etc. These ayahs have been compiled together as a small booklet called 'Manzil' for easy recitation.

.....dont disclose any more of your personal info and work on your yaqeen in the power of Allah Swt...recite the last two surahs of the Quran and the Ayat ul Kursi....Dont get frightened, A beliver does not get frightened from the tricks of the shaitaan...

If you think that she really is doing whatever that you think she's doing, then do not eat whatever that she gives it to you. Do not wear/take any clothing that she gives it to you.

I learnt this. You just read some ayats of Quran and the length increases or decreases. There are no jinns involved. I never had any jinns to lengthen it or shorten it. Aaliyat is a complete science. Theres a difference between an amil and a raqi. For becoming a raqi you don't need to do anything. Just memorize some ayats and then you can become a raqi. But amaliyat is a complete science. For becoming an amil you need to do strong amals and sit in chillas and none of our ulama have ever said its not allowed. And as for asking the name of the mother, doesnt mean its a magician. How can one claim that if someone asks for the name of the mother then he's a magician?

Allah knows best! Well in my experience, people who don't charge and just sit and claim that they are doing khidmat of people, they never really do anything for you. Ive been to many such amils. They never do anything worthwhile and will tell you to read this and that and nothing will happen. And charging is not that worse, because if a person is sitting and doing this amaliyat and helping people then why shouldn't he charge? Where will he eat from? To all those who say that they should be free, i ask them to learn it themselves and then serve people 24 hours and don't do any other job. Can they do it? It's just like an Imam charging for leading the prayers in the Masjid. If he doesnt get payed, how will he survive?

Don't worry about her! Read the Aya 18 of Sura YaSiyn. Or maybe the Aya 9 of the same Sura. or even when you have time, make this 'amal:

10 Ayats from Sura Baqarah [to protect your body against jinn/shayatiyn]
YaSiyn (9) x 3 [to "blind" the Jinns/Shayatiyns, so they can't see you. because= when a raqi helps a vicitim (exorcised) him/her, the family/friends of the jinn/shayatiyn could attack the raqi)]

the one time i saw a guy doing the measuring clothes thing he used his hand to measure the garment. when he first measured the garment he placed his hand palm down on it and the fingers were tight against one another. after reciting something he measured again in the same way and this time the fingers were slightly loose which made it look as if the garment had changed size.

My advice for you is that, do recite Surah yaseen daily & if ur friend gives u anything to eat, start it by reciting Surah falak & naas.
