 Is it Unislamic to say: I don't want the whole world to be Muslim
As Salaam Alaykum,
I was talking to a brother the other day and he told me that, he likes the world as it is in its diversity. He said what attracted him to Islam is because it was different, it is what made him curious about Islam. He said after 20 years of being Muslim, I can honesly say I don't want the whole world to be Muslim. So I told him, isn't it unislamic to hold such view? He replied, I don't think so, i am merely accepting how Allah destined things to be, he did not intend for the whole world to be Muslim, if He did, it would be. I wasn't sure how to reply to him. Your thoughts??? |

As far as I know, even if everyone converted to Islam the diversity would remain. Are Arab Muslims the same as Indian Muslims? Each culture has their quirks and I don't think Islam is there to make everyone exactly the same in everything.
