Some people say the hadiths and prophecies about the antichrist are only metaphoric and not literal
some people say they are both
i am of the opinion that they are both
does anyone else believe the descriptions of the antichrist were literal descriptions and not only figurative descriptions? Why?

and if you do believe he is literally a man, how come some hadiths say he is chained up already, but yet others say he will be born of parents?
does anyone think he is already alive or will be born?

from my limited knowledge, dajjal is a literal figure and he is chained up somewhere.
