Salam,
Please offer your advices. There was a situation in the past (18yrs a go). There was either a bad intention in mind or no intention in mind in the situation. I am leaning toward no bad intentention was intended, but I need Allah to clarify for me. I need to make peace of mind with it.

Is there a duaa I can make for Allah to make the answer clear to me?

Welcome to the forum.

Bury the issue.

If it concerns other people, have the best intention for them.
If it concerns you then sincerely apologise to people and ask Allah (SWT) for forgiveness.

Move on...

fast a a day or two fri and sat and on fri a lil befor asr go out make dua for Allah swt to help then be for you end fast make dua and redo the same thing the next day also so some nufl salat and inshallah Allah will make it clrear for you but i will like to know what by you doing thing what will it help ( going back in to the pass you can't redo it you only can ask for forgiveness i think may be there is more i will like to if thats okay if i have said anything bad then its from me and anything good then its from Allah swt

Include Ya Hadi-Ya Raheem hundred times in your morning and evening schedule and then completely follow what Colonel has advised.
