Default charity donations

registered charity donations allow tax relief for persons donating to such charities. if someone donates on the basis of sadaqah, can they reclaim that back as tax deductible as allowed by the law?

will reclaiming the tax nullify the sawab and virtue of the sadaqah?

Those two things may be separate acts: one is sadaqah and the other one you don't want your extra money to go to be spent on other things, no? Wallahu a'lam.

well there is that yes, but if someone did reclaim the sadaqah as tax deductible it wouldn't be seen as lacking Ikhlaas would it?
