Default Waswasah while reading Qur'an

whenever i read Qur'an, keep repeating words/ayahs just in case i've made a mistake. i know tajweed and can read properly, but, this waswasah keeps coming that i might have made a mistake.
Anybody has any idea on how to overcome this?

Keep reading, keep your tilawat continued, after a Ruko or two you will find that even if you try to remember what that "presumed mistake" was, you would not be able to recall it. In other words,as Shaikh Fusoos very rightly said " ignore it".

Yes, many people are bothered by this. Sometimes at taharat, sometimes at wudhu, sometimes at salaat, sometimes at intention etc. You are not responsible for thoughts that come on their own, if you purposely bring them on then you are responsible. Just ignore and keep focus on your task. After some time of ignoring and also with abundance of zikr, these waswasa stop or they rarely come but by that time you are able to handle them.

Also, do not get worried at the time when waswasa come because one of the objectives of shaytan when putting waswasa is to make the believer worried and perplexed so that all day night they are worried and caught up in trying to fight off the waswasa. Rather than get worried, get happy when waswasa comes that now you already know a great weapon to fight them off - ignoring them - this way shaytaan will no longer waste more effort on you, he will look for others to bother.
