do i carry on reading ish'aa without 3 witr or what?

witr prayer is nearly same like other prayer. you start to learn witr salah, and till then you should keep praying isha, as those prayer are obligatory.

Beheshti Zewar says that if you don't know Dua-e-Qunoot, recite "Rabbana Atina fidunya hassanatan wa fil akhirati hassanatan wa qinna adhaban nar" or "Allah hummaghfirli" three times or "Ya Rabbi Ya Rabbi Ya Rabbi" three times.
