where can a Muslim live to live with dignity in the usa? I don't like apartment buildings because no privacy, town-houses you are under the thumb of the home owner's association, house - you have to get halal mortgage and it is questionable (or is it?) anyway, renting seems like a more safe option...

also, i heard there was going to be a gated Muslim community associated or near Zaytuna college in Berkeley, California, anyone know about this or think it will be a good place t olive?
