Default DHUN and DHAYAN
To elaborate on a theme from Moulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi ra,for busy people who are so involved in their jobs etc or the nature of the job is such that they can,t spend time sitting properly and do some azkar, this might be helpfull.DHAN means continued interest in ALLAH swt,s pleasure, that is wanting to please Allah & gain his favours and continue to keep thinking about it,DHAYAN means in daily routines, from time to time, turning your attention towards Allah swt,may that be Allah swt,s blessed names or sifat or thinking about creation of Allah swt,or various events in our own lives eg sometimes things happen which pleases us,on such occasions considering it a blessing of Allah and feeling of gratitude & thankfulness,on other occasions things may not be so favourable,on such occasions again thinking them to be from Allah & reminding yourself there must be some hikma in it and so do Sabr.similarly turning towards Allah when involved in Sins for Tauba or seek protection of Allah when frightened.
These are all mental phenomena and does not interfere with your job or take time, but with each of them one becomes immediately focused on the Allah swt and gains great favours with Allah.
So FAREZ plus DHUN plus DHAYAN makes you some someone who is close to Allah swt, even if you don,t have enough times for extra ibadat.
