Default Hating jews part of 'Aqidah or not
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

I just saw few clips in which some Saudi and other scholars claiming that hating Jews is what Allah Most High orders us. What is the view of the 'Ulema of Deoband with respect to this issue? Referring to topics already answering the question at hand is also appreciated.

BarakAllahu fikum

It's not specifically the Jews, it's having wala' for the Muslims and Bara' for all the Kuffaar. Hating the kuffaar in general is part of the religion, because it entails hating their kufr.

No where does it say to hate anyone. You guys got the message twisted. The message of Islam is one of peace and tells us to spread the message amongst everyone. Anyone preaching hate has something wrong with their heart and should be checked into an imam/psych ward. Thank you for reading.

We don't hate the people(in of themselves) who go against the religion of Islam rather we hate their actions.

Allah will destroy Riba (usury) and will give increase for Sadaqat (deeds of charity, alms, etc.) And Allah likes not the disbelievers, sinners. 2:276

Truly, Allah defends those who believe. Verily! Allah likes not any treacherous ingrate to Allah [those who disobey Allah but obey Shaitan (Satan)]. 22:38

I guess Imam at-tahaawi was wrong when he said:

"( ونحب أهل العدل والأمانة ، حب أهل العدل من كمال الإيمان ونبغض أهل الجور والخيانة )"

and can anyone check this next one>?

* The Great Hanafi scholar Al Sarkhasi (d. 483H) said in Al Mabsout (11/23), after mentioning the narration quoted earlier of Abdullah ibn Rawaha (May Allah be pleased with him), he said:

ثُمَّ إنَّهُ قَطَعَ طَمَعَهُمْ بِمَا قَالَ : " إنَّكُمْ مِنْ أَبْغَضِ خَلْقِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى إلَيَّ "وَهَكَذَا يَنْبَغِي لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَكُونَ فِي بُغْضِ الْيَهُودِ بِهَذِهِ الصِّفَةِ

Right, now give us proof for that, you or anyone else who agrees with you.

Hating them and treating them kindly are two different things, I CAN hate someone and still be nice to them.

Allah's Messenger (صلى الله عليه و سلم) said:

" If Allah loves someone He calls Gabriel and says:

I love so-and-so, so you love him. Gabriel loves him, and calls the other angels in Heaven to love that person. They love him, then his love will be made upon earth, and he becomes loved.

And if Allah hates someone He calls Gabriel and says:

I hate so-and-so and you hate him. Gabriel hates him and calls the angels in Heaven and says: Allah hates so-and-so, so you all hate him. They all hate him, and his hatred is made upon earth and he becomes hated."

That proves absolutely nothing.

I never said don't give them their rights, I said treat them kindly.

I asked for proof and you give me a link to a place i don't take fatawa from. "Love for your brother what you love for yourself" is not proof.

So please tell me what did Imam at-tahaawi mean in his book when he said "and we hate the PEOPLE of injustice and bretrayel"? What is the biggest injustice and betrayel? Shirk.

So talking without knowledge is permissible, as long as other "more knowledgable brothers" can give a detailed answer? You made the proclamation so now back it up with non ambigious verses and ahadeeth..... I gave you the ayah and ahadeeth to prove my point, and even gave you the most widely accepted book of 'aqeedah, and you give me a fatwa from sunnipath... that uses the hadeeth "love for your brother"....

Give me a break.

Dear Brother, Assalaamoalaikum

Did the Holy Messenger(SAW) HATE the Jews or the Christians for that matter?

If not, then the views of anyone is immaterial.

Brotherly yours

Wa Alaykumu s-salam.

Did Rasulullah sall Allahu 'Alay-hi wa-sallam ever hated them?
If Rasulullah sall Allahu 'Alay-hi wa-sallam never hated them, then we can't hate them too.

As far as I know, we can't hate others for just being a kafir.

Saudi... Most of them are salafis (wahhabi) right?
We are ahlus sunnah wal jamaah. Stick to our aqeedah.

Wallahu a'lam.

Is aqeedah at-tahaawiyah a salafi wahhabi text or what?

Please inform me what did he mean in his text when he said ""and we hate the PEOPLE of injustice and bretrayel"

Is now Aqeedah tahaawiya not part of ahl Sunnah?

And like I said 35 times, bring the proof that we should not hate the disbelievers....In a general sense, just as Allah does not like them because of their Kufr.

"And Allah likes not the disbelievers, sinners. 2:276"

So since we have this ayah, that says that Allah does not like the disbelievers, we know for a fact that the Prophet also did not like the disbelievers... Because it is not possible that the Messenger of Allah went against the order of Allah, so now it is upon you to show us otherwise.

Treating them kindly, giving them respect, does not mean we love them.

When there is no objectivity, only emotion are left to justify ones biased stance.
I remember reading 'Wisdom is believers lost sheep. when you find it accept it'.
So in the age selective information the is only acceptable source when it comes from Salafist Berlwei source. Such is the position of relegated knowledge these days.
A clear sign of deseased individual. It is no wonder the hate and suspicion increases be it muslim or non muslim accordingly
Allahualam
You have a tendency to sound like Google translate when you speak so I can never understand who or what you are speaking about...And When I ask you, you never answer.

So I'll try again, who is the diseased individual that is using selective information?

Yeah, because previously i didn't have one....

In other words my previous point was too salafi for you....

I'm glad I got your approval though, makes my day so much more brighter.
