What exactly do females do when they go to Jamaat?(tabligh) ![]() It's been many years since I've been in Jamaat, went for 40 days twice.I'm assuming they do the same stuff now as they did back then. Which is time spent in taaleem, learning, ibaadat and meeting sisters who visit the jamaat etc..Since we're out in a complete Islamic environment, we have the zeal to do extra ibaadah which we probably won't do whilst we're at home and occupied. Mashwrara is done amongst the Males who are in jamaat, they usually will make a list of the collective amaals that the sisters would do, a sister each is appointed to carry them out. e.g one sister will be appointed to read from a certain chapter in fazail aamal while another from somewhere else. Then sisters are also appointed to give tashkeel after the lectures, maybe muzakera of the 6 points is done.Istiqbaal(welcoming those who visit ) also Khidmah ( assisting others or helping out with the cooking, serving food etc) The day is usually like this : Wake for tahaajud/fajr,Ishraaq and then taaleem or sometimes the males of the Jamaat may come to give a short talk. You can then take a rest, shower etc. Breakfast is served . Then it's time for the Halqah/taaleem where those who've been appointed to read will read.I'm not sure if its still done, but after the taaleem we would go over surahs, short duas,6 points etc and try to learn them for the next day. This taaleem usually last for like 2 hrs max . It's time for zuhr salaah and lunch .After that the sisters would usually take a rest etc .. Then it's time for the lecture .After the lecture a sister is appointed to give a short talk encouraging the sisters to go out in jamaat with their male mahrams etc after that sisters in the jamaat is advise to sit with, meet and talk to those sisters who attended the talk. The salaah times comes after that, also dinner and short taaleems before bed time. The time should be spent constructively, try to do as much nafl ibaadah one can and use the spare time to either learn or maybe share what one have learn with others. I'm sure they maybe others who have been in Jamaat recently, they can explain better ![]() Hope this helps ![]() |
