Assalamu Alaikum to all,
When you read a book and feel a connection to the writer it's a good thing and when reading a book you feel the words of the writer are creating an imagery of links with other thoughts that's great and when the writer's words open portholes of knowledge clarifying information and revealing new facts you are now in the spiritual library of knowledge. As all souls emanate from the same place and all souls are instructed, the only true knowledge is the one kept in the soul. Allah S.W.T says "ask them do they not remember ?" a reference to the time when all souls where created and asked to swear allegiance to Allah S.W.T. When the Sahaba asked the prophet s.a.w about the soul the verse was revealed "tell them the soul is with Allah" and also the reference "when the believers sleep their souls receive guidance from Allah S.W.T" and " I teach man what he does not know" Humans and books are a mere Asbab (a means by which) not the source. When a Believing person has been blessed with knowledge all they say is clear and easily understood and in some cases the pure truth makes some euphoric and some sleepy even lethargic; for true knowledge is heard and felt by the hart. Thus is the mercy of Allah S.W.T his call is made hart felt and basic as any instinct for all to easily accept. Should one ask then how come so many can't accept Islam ? The answer lies in what else is in those people's hart blocking the call. " we have sent unto you a clear message" It's impossible to truly seek Allah S.W.T and not find him for he also says "walk to me and I shall run to you " "mention my name and I will mention you in better company" and "remember me often". May the Mercy of Allah S.W.T protect us all. Masalam |
