Default Help please
Assalamu Alaikum Brothers/Sisters, please take 2 mins to read below

I put this request to you from a Masjid in Huddersfield, UK who requires urgent financial help. It is Madni Jamia Masjid and is the second oldest Masjid in Huddersfield. They have aquired land from the council to build on and require £197,000 by June to purchase the land to build the first purpose built Masjid in Huddersfield. A further £1 million will be required to build the Masjid. At the moment it is 3 small Huts.
Please help this cause as they are facing difficulty raising the funds.

It is a registered charity (no. 505870) and is also registered with Kirklees council (www.kirklees.gov.uk/community/localorgs/orgdetails.asp?OrgID=1584).

Please see the website: www.madnijamiamasjid.com for more info and donate online by PayPal (you can donate by card)

Jazakhallah

The current Masjid used to be Salvation Army hut some 40 years ago and was converted to a Masjid. The local council have said that for the Masjid we would require a car park. If it was to be built on the current land there will be no space for a car park and the local street would be overwhelmed. The plan is to build a Masjid on the new land and convert the adjacent land to a car park. Also, there are 2 houses directly in front of the current Masjid which they will have to build up towards.

The council did allow the Masjid to pay for the land over a period of 4 years BUT that would include interest. The Masjid obvisiously declined that and they give a fixed price of £197,000.

Currently it is the closest Masjid to a few localities and has an expanding Madrassah. Please help if you can.
