 Is Standing and reading Salaam accepted??
Huzoor e Paak Salalahu Alaihi wa Salam states in a Hadith that if you dream of me, U Surely have as shaytaan cannot take my form.
In another hadith its stated that the worst lie is to say u have dreamt something when u didn't. My bro did his alim course at a deobandi, wahaabi Darul Uloom in Newcastle, South Africa. During one of his classes, his najdi teacher blurted out. "All those that stand and read salaam wasted their time as their salaam is NOT ACCEPTED by Huzoor e Paak Salalahu Alaihi wa Salam" This made my bro very disheartened. He made dua to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala as follows, " O Allah, all these years I've been standing and sending salaam to Huzoor e Paak Salalahu Alaihi wa Salam, is this all in vain." Alhamdulillah, that very night he dreamt of Huzoor e Paak Salalahu Alaihi wa Salam. Huzoor e Paak Salalahu Alaihi wa Salam tells him, " O Abdur Rahman, whether you STAND OR SIT, I ( Salalahu Alaihi wa Salam) REPLY TO YOUR SALAAM." The next day he related his dream to his Ustaad ( Rahmatulah Alai). I can't remember this ustaads (Rahmatulah Alai) name but he is late. This ustaad founded Darul Uloom Newcastle. His ustaad replied, Abdur Rahman, u must stand on the mimbar and inform the people ( wahaabis,etc) of ur dream, instruction." I may well ask u , after reading this post, who Do YoU TRUST, HUZOOR e PAAK SALALAHU ALAI wa SALAM or the corrupt deobandi alims.???????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????? |

yeah - your post is going to go over real well here - ask your brother who sounds like a good brother - if the bayaan he gave after receiving such a blessed dream was worded in such a hateful way. Then make dua that Allah gives you hikma when addressing such topics, so as not to alienate the people you are trying to guide. The honey gets the bee.

I read a post prior to this bout Melaad Celebrations, the hate in that tread put me in this state. My reply to that thread definitely hit da nail on da head cos da mods deleted it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So with that being said, the Prophet  came to me in my dream and told me to listen to the deobandi scholars and not you... So will you listen to the Prophet or what?

Brother I know where you coming from just chill out man we need unity in ummah and these minor differences should be left alone you should listen to the talk by Mufti Rafi Usmani which he gave in UK http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZbM9O89e70 in which he mentions that unity of the ummah is more important then the small differences we have in the ummah. |

I'm lost.... what do you mean stand and give salams? I also dreamt of Huzoor e Paak Salalahu Alaihi wa Salam but the day before, I dreamt I was STANDING AND SENDING salaam to him salalahu alaihi wa salam. |

So your brother is also a deobandi? no deobandi I know of says that your durood is not accepted if you are standing. I have no hassles with da tabliqh jamaat. I go out in Ghush, visit their programmes, etc but as stated earlier when I read posts of hate against the Paakka Sunni Aqeedah, it infuriates me. I have posted many threads by moulana yunus patel (db). If I was against the tabligh jamaat I wud not have posted his teachings. In all of my threads there was no hate until today. Plse post da link once more for da haters o Ahleh Sunnah wa Jamaah. Zindabaad Zindabaad Ahleh Sunaateh Zindabaad. |

 bro You need to relax.  There are lots of incidents around the world that go against the Sunnah of the Prophet . Some preach it out of lack of knowledge, some do it intentionally. Most of these incident occur due to a combination of Lack of knowledge and ego to prove others wrong. So brother relax, if you find any alim preaching mistakes, first make it absolutely sure he is mistaken coz they tend to have more knowledge than us. We can never know his intention, so its better not to assume anything and slander against him. Make dua to Allah to guide Him and us too. P.s. Stop having agenda against Deobandi or Barelvi, as mentioned above the difference is only mild. We should try to be a Muslim first. Only reason we call ourselves Sunni is to differentiate us from the major deviants like Shia, Qadiani etc. Otherwise basically we are only Muslims and do not belong to any sect. |

I have read the two posts in the Mawlid thread where you posts and were removed. Most of what you write is either emotion or a copy paste. In the above post I believe you are talking about Maulana Qasim Sema rehmatullah alayhi? In anycase, while in one instance the teacher were najdi, wahabi, corrupt ulamas, later they become Ustaad rehmatullah alayh. So it is a bit confusing what you are posting. Nonetheless, with regards to durood and salam, I recite durood standing, sitting, driving and even laying down. So I feel, if the quotation to Ml. Sema is correct he is referring to Salami/Qiyam etc after Jummah or in Mawlid. If that is the case, then his view is correct. As for the dream, then if that is correctly transmitted as well, it will also be correct that your brothers duroods have been accepted. It will not make any daleel for the practice. Sometime we accept the wrongs of our children too. Acceptance of that individual action will not mean that it is accepted mutlaqan. Finally about Mawlid issues, I am happy that your brother is farigh from Newcastle, which means he has good command on arabic. Please ask him to accompany you on this forum. So we can have an "academic" discussion and not one governed by emotions. I will make sure your thread in that discussion will not be deleted, unless the emotions run too high, or instead of discussion either party simply starts copy pasting.
