A little boy and his mother were crossing a river:
Mother :"Please hold my hand". Boy:"No mom,you hold my hand". Mother:"What's the difference?". Boy: "If i hold your hand and something happens to me. Chances are that i may let your hand go,but if you hold my hand,i know for sure, you will never let my hand go.." May Allah protect & reward our beloved mothers . Ameen Summa Ameen!!!! |

"Your Lord has decreed that you should worship nothing except Him, and (show) kindness to your parents, whether one or both of them attain old age (while they are) still with you, never say to them 'Shame! nor scold either of them. Speak to them in a generous fashion. Protect them carefully and say: 'My Lord, show them mercy, just as they cared for me as a little child'" (Holy Quran 17:23-24).
It is reported that a man came to the Prophet(sallallaahu alaiyhi wassallam) and asked: "Messenger of Allah, who is the most deserving of good care from me?" The Prophet (sallallaahu alaiyhi wassallam)replied: "Your mother (which he repeated three times) then your father, then your nearest relatives. |

Abu Naufal reports that,
a man came to Hadhrat Umar (radhiallahu anhu) and confessed to having murdered another man. Hadhrat Umar (radhiallahu anhu) asked him if any of his parents were alive. The man replied that his father was still alive. Hadhrat Umar (radhiallahu anhu) told him to go and serve his father well and maintain good relations with him. When the man left, Hadhrat Umar (radhiallahu anhu) said, “I take an oath in That Being in Whose Hands my soul lies, if that man’s Mother was still alive and he had to maintain and treat her well, I have hope that the Fire of Jahannum would never touch him.” |
