please keep the debates about whether hijrat is wajib or not and if there is a suitable place for hijrat or not untill at least 4 or 5 pages into the thread for now i would like to know if there is anyone here who would be willing to sacrifice their dunya and family ties to safeguard and further their iman and that of their family and to live in an islamic orientated community. |

If somebody is living in a non-muslim country then it is not necessary to make Hijrah until people up there stop you from practicing your religion. Else if you are safe then keep on giving dawah ! Jazak Allah |

Belguim was sad enough the first country to ban niqab , but the true fact is you just can't blame them if it could be banned in muslim country's then why not in country of disbelievers. One thing to be remembered The wujoob of niqaab is only in the hanafi fiqh so it would become fard according to us , but according to many fuqaha it's not waajib so hijrah wouldn't be fard on them. May Allah swt make the sittuation for all the muslims eassy , for sure it's a effect of my sins. jazakallah |

I wonder often about hijrah. At some point, it seems it will be necessary, this is easily attested to by the situation in America (comparing twenty years ago to today; I might point out that at the inauguration of the Islamic Cultural Center of New York, then-mayor Ed Koch said repeatedly . Imagine a politician shouting today! He'd probably get lynched within the day). I do, however, wonder where to go. But yes, hijrah seems like it will be necessary at some point. May Allah make it easy for all of us. |

I try to make Hijrah every day, this type at least: 'Amr Ibn 'Abasah Radhiyallahu 'anhu asked: Which Iman is the best? Nabi Sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam replied: Hijrah (generally it means migration). And then asked: What is Hijrah? Nabi Sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam replied: To forsake evil. (Musnad Ahmad) 'Abdullah Ibn 'Amr Radhiyallahu 'anhumaa narrates that a man said: O Rasulullah! Which migration is the best? He replied: You give up all those things that are disliked by your Rabb 'Azza wa Jall. And Rasulullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam said: Migration is of two types; migration of a city dweller and migration villagers. Migration of villagers is that, whenever he is called, he comes, and whenever he is commanded, he obeys. And the migration of a city dweller is greater in trial and more rewarding. (Nasai) Note: The reward for one who lives in the city is more because of his pre-occupations and abundant belongings; which he must leave to migrate in the Path of Allah. Hadhrat Saalih bin Basheer bin Fudayk narrates that his grandfather Hadhrat Fudayk Radhiyallahu 'anhu once approached Rasulullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam and asked, "O Rasulullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam! Some people say that the person who does not migrate is destroyed." Rasulullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam replied, "O Fudayk! Establish Salaah, Pay Zakaah, migrate away from evil and live where ever you want in the land of your people, you will still be regarded as one who has migrated." (Baghawi, Ibn Mandah and Abu Nu'aym, as quoted in Kanzul Ummal Vol.8 Pg. 331 Excerpt from Hayatus- Sahabah) He who makes Hijrah in Allaah's way (for Allaah's pleasure) shall find on earth many places to emigrate to and abundance (of food and other means). Whoever leaves his home to make Hijrah towards (a place where he can fulfill the commands of) Allaah and His Rasool and then death finds him (en route for death comes a its appointed time), without doubt his reward is assured (set aside) by Allaah. Allaah is Most Forgiving (consoling), Most Merciful. Nisaa:100 As for the other type of Hijrah, if Allah gives me the tawfiq, I wish for it to be Madinah Munawwarah. There's special fadha'il of passing away there, as it comes in the Hadith that Rasulullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam will intercede for those who pass away there. Sweet. |

on the authority of Amr bin Abasah, that a man came to RasulAllah (saw), saying: "O RasulAllah (saw)! What is Islam? RasulAllah (saw) replied: It is that you submit your heart to Allah, and that you protect the Muslims from your tongue and hand. The man then asked: Which Islam is the best? RasulAllah (saw) replied: Iman. The man asked: And what is Iman? RasulAllah (saw) said: That you believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, and the Resurrection after death. The man asked: Which Iman is the best? RasulAllah (saw) said: Hijrah. The man asked: And what is hijrah? RasulAllah (saw) said: That you abandon evil. The man asked: And which hijrah is the best? RasulAllah (saw) replied: Jihaad." Ain't we supposed to be staying on the topic of the thread? |

for now i would like to know if there is anyone here who would be willing to sacrifice their dunya and family ties to safeguard and further their iman and that of their family and to live in an islamic orientated community. However, you also need to think about the market demand of your job skill in that new country. For , the Muslims living in Europe , I think , Turkey might be the best country to do Hijrah as long as AKP and other Islam-friendly parties are in the govt. |
