Just read this news on internet. May Allah Ta'ala give her (and us) istiqamah and makes it easier for everyone to get through all the trials & move on.

Tony Blair’s sister-in-law has converted to Islam after having a ‘holy experience’ in Iran.

Broadcaster and journalist Lauren Booth, 43 – Cherie Blair’s half-sister – said she now wears a hijab head covering whenever she leaves her home, prays five times a day and visits her local mosque ‘when I can’.

She decided to become a Muslim six weeks ago after visiting the shrine of Fatima al-Masumeh in the city of Qom.

‘It was a Tuesday evening and I sat down and felt this shot of spiritual morphine, just absolute bliss and joy,’ she told The Mail on Sunday.

When she returned to Britain, she decided to convert immediately.

She is already near the Truth and inshAllah she would receive a straight guidiance from Allah Ta'ala and become a "True Muslim" when she finish reading the Qur'an without seen a single A'aya with the name of Ali(RA) in there as the Shism would have gone through her thought to make her believe in Imamat.

Salam alaykum,
Although she converted in the city of Qom which is of great importance to the Shi'ites it does not appear that she has become one. She says that she goes to the mosque FIVE times a day and the Shi'ites pray only three times a day. Perhaps she was in Qom because she works for an Iranian TV channel.
May she be a part of the Firqa_tun_najiyya.

Let us all decide to make dua for her, let us pray fervently so that Allah SWT may guide her to Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamah and not shiaism, 'coz then that'd be awful, disastrous. I hope a little Sadqah for this on our part wouldn't' hurt ....Isn't it possible for any of brother's or sister's in the UK to get in touch with her??

I ask because I was under the impression that a Muslima must be married to a muslim..

Surah Al-Baqara : Ayat 221

Yes it is, but "possible" sin is nothing when compared to kufr. I say possible because she may have already divorced or already staying away from him. Allahu A'lam. We should make Husn-u Zann in these kind of situations.

And may Allah bless you with the most pious Muslim brother as a husband who will bring about the Barakah and Khair to your Dunya and Akhirah. Amin.

Wives can get up and take the shahada if they are married to a man of another faith. Delay in acceptiing faith is dangerous. Inshallah, we'll soon see another press conference where her husband will declare his faith.

1- Faroa was non believer but his wife Asiya was a good believer. Not only that she is one of the leaders of women in Heaven
2- Ibrahim (A) was a believer but his father Aazar was a non believer
3- Nohe (A) was a believer and his son was a non believer
