Default "is God the most-merciful"??
Saalam ppl,

I know a brother, he seems very changed, and always talks about "deep thinking". How its a benefit to think deeply and what not. Which is a good thing, but also if you start thinking too deeply about Allah and other things then I personally know people that left the fold of islam .

My question to all you is how should I get this brother to stop going off into this weird phase of his and he always asks things such as How is god the most merciful, the most gracious, the most loving??!?

He always asks these unusual questions and I'm trying to figure out how to answer and how to make him stop doubting Allah swt.

Any suggestions would help on how to answer his question.

Well actually that's a good thing to think and reflect deeply over the creation.

The best way to satisfy such a fellow brother would be offering them this tafsir of Qur'an called Risale-i Nur written by a late Ottoman Shafii scholar Bediuzzaman. To give an idea what kind of great books these are, here is the First Word to read. He was the first successful scholar to prove logically the existence of next world.

Please let me know what you think.
