Default Writing surahs in exams.
Assalamualikum brothers and sisters.

I have grown up in UAE and here we have Islamic Studies as a subject in majority of the English schools. I have studied in 3 different schools and one thing I have noticed in atleast 2 schools is that we used to have surahs from the Quran in our text book. We would be reciting them in classes and they would come in our test/final exams, where we were expected to write them.

My question is, is this allowed, because,
1: Where do the answer sheets go after the exam?
2: What about those who make errors while writing a surah?
3: Since these come in tests/exams, students practise them a lot. So this question is also similar to point 1, where does the paper go after one practices?

Jazak Allah, Looking forward to your replies.
