Default Immigration and Islam
Salam Alaikum warahmatulah wabarakh

Just a quick mention here, as I havent seen a post or thread on anything about IMMIGRATION.

Basically what does Islam say about immigration, and the rights of immigrants? Is it considered praiseworth for example moving to pastures new for economic benefits? Or is only considered praiseworthy emigrating to the 2 cities (makkah sharif and madina munawwar)

What urged me to ask this question is the fact that, me, living in a western society, being born in the UK, yet we seem to still be viewed as outsiders.... Obviously that is because we are muslim, but that is not what the topic is about.

It is more to do with the various speeches politicians make on immigration et al, and the latest one to make a speech concerning immigration was funnily enough the PrimE Minister Cameron. I would love to see some authentic hadith quotes regarding this sensitive issue, that seems to be picked on by the dirty British media and press...

Feel free to add more questions....
