Simply check your heart during your everyday occurrences. If you are ready to sacrifice (the pleasure of) your parents, your business, yourself and others for the sake of our beloved Prophet and his Sunnah, then you've passed the test. If you are on the other hand ready to sacrifice the pleasure of our beloved Prophet and his Sunnah for the sake of your parents, your business, yourself or others (their pleasure), then know that you still have to work on your love for the best of creations . Remember Sayyidina Hudhaifa ibn Yaman was not even ready to forsake the Sunnah of picking up a dropped morsel for the sake or comfort of the Kings of his time. An efficient and easy way to improve this love is to temporarily disconnect yourself from your parents, your family, your business and others and learn the practical life of Rasulullah in the path of Allah ta'ala.
