Brothers chill
Shaytan is certainly lurking in this forums to sow misunderstanding between us.

Back to the opening post. Well what was it ? Ah well here it goes

hi i wanted to ask is okay to recite ayat al karima at any time whether in hardship or not (as i want to try to memorise it)
for example, can anything bad come from reciting it if you are not ineed of its effects...in other words, shall i only recite it under certain conditions (the reason why i ask is because i was googling it and found a random forum post with someone asking the question and saying something about it being "hot" or whatever)

so is it okay for me to recite as many times as i want without risk of anything happening ?

p.s. this is the dua prophet Yunus recited in the big fish's belly, where only Allah could save him.
thanks
jazakallah
I haven't come across any such limitations in making dua. My knowledge is weak. Maybe someone can come up with a definitive answer.

ok ,lets see!

indeed there is no limitation in making dua.As far this wird , yes it's effect is very hot but that factor is more for the people who make wird of it to become an aamil of it and read it very effective with that intention such people read it in a day in the thousands.But that's not concern , but for surety you can combine it with durood shareef.

and for sure to read durood shareef with it has many benefits firsly like seeker mentioned the hadith your dua gets accepted , secondly the heat of it will be cooled down, thirdly the love for rasoolullah sallallahu alaihiwasallam will increase, durood shareef it self is very effective for the reliefe of hardships etc , you wil get reward ,your sins will be forgiven ,your status will get higher.

What else do you need !

i think it's a good proposal to combine it with salawaat alannabi ! ! !

wa maa alaina illalbalaagh

its not important to understand anyway ! ! !

just explained because the brother asked, and secondly because i think that seeker prescribed it maybe for this reason as well.but most importantly i ùentioned it because the brother mentioned it in his first post.

It's ajeeb that we even have to make ikhtilaaf on some small issues like duroo shareef ,thats what forced me to write my small post .so that i could write a short conclussion even do im not worthy of it. May Allah swt forgive all of ours shortcomings and enter us all into jannah.

if you really want to understand the hot matter well discuss it privately, what do you think ?

hot factor = when u keep on reciting some dhikr, it's effect starts showing on you and there are symptoms like people getting fat or fainted etc... because of excessive zikr. To stop this people are asked to read durood.

Durood is sending salutation to prophet and asking for peace for the ummah. By reading durood we feel peace. It is also called as "durood sharif" in indo-pak.

wird = supplication

wird = supplication

Besides the three tasbeehat, I regularly recite the Ayat-e-Karima in my daily azkaar. I have found it to have a very calming effect on my soul. It also increases the intensity of my astaghfar and increases my khushu and khudhu' in namaz.

Instead of the word "hot" I would use the word "powerful" for it, although its effects on different people might vary. The humility and lowliness expressed in this dua' is heart melting and awesome.

sorry for the constant questions, its just that i like to pass on my knowledge sometimes and id like to also know the the implications and etc so the person is aware

so if i was to constantly recite this dua i can be effected physicaly? and why is it that these effects come ?
is it like sitting at a computer all day and becoming fat, or is it something else

thanks, jazakallah

Salamu 'alaykum brother.

I would advise you to direct questions related to this to bro Fusus al Hikam. He is a better man to explain.

Hakim al-Ummat Hadhrat Mawlana Ashraf ‘Ali Thanawi (may Allah sanctify his secret) writes:
It is wajib (obligatory) to reply to the salam which is written in a letter. This reply may be [given] in writing or verbally.
The fuqaha (jurists) have said that in reply to the salam which is written in a letter, one may say عليكم السلام or even السلام عليكم
Adab al-Mu’asharat, page12, English translation by Majlisul-Ulama of South Africa.
