Default Kisan Bapat Baburao (Anna) Hazare And Muslims of India?

Kisan Bapat Baburao (Anna) Hazare is an India activist famous for transforming the village of Ralegan_Siddhi along with other constituional reform.

A wide-ranging Anti-corruption bill has been pending in India for 4 decades and Kisan Bapat Baburao (Anna) Hazare and his team have proposed Jan Lokpal Bill.

Kisan Bapat Baburao (Anna) Hazare went on FAST TILL DEATH and one of his supporters Arvind Kejriwal supports and explains the strategy here in his interview .

I know that many Muslims support this measure but.

  1. What is the overall thinking of Indian Muslims on this?
  2. What is the opinion of Indian Ulama aligned with Indian National Congress or otherise on the issue.

It is refreshing & good to note these matters because in Pakistan, nothing like this will EVER HAPPEN!

He got a lot of support from people all over India. It was so widely spreading among all groups of people that I thought some revolution is going to start like in Egypt. I think even the govt has sensed the same thing and accepted his demands.

Interesting fact is even well know corrupt leaders supported him. Two such well known leaders who went to support him were chased out from the place of protest

BJP is one of the first major poitical parties which supported him.

Are Muslims in general are also in favour of him?

Assalamu alaykum

Recently he has praised Modi and nitish kumar of bihar. At the same time he has dis-associated himself from communal politics played by the BJP.

BJP is supporting him because it is in opposition. The congress is asking the BJP why didn't they introduce the anti corruption bill when they were in power. The bill will be affecting the BJP ruled state governments.

Being a honest citizen of India, a muslim also would like to have corruption free governments.

my Brother,

I havn't issued any judgements on him. Simply stated something in your response and then asked you if there is a lot of Support amongst Indian Muslims for him.

I am not sure how many support him. But I think everyone should support him unless he is biased.
