Default What kind of physique did the prophet have?
well, iv just started weight training again after about 18 months of laziness (im a bag of bones ): )
im not sure what sort of physique to work towards...ever since i was about 13 iv always wanted a bruce lee physique (that guy could fight!)
i now have the thirst to train regular and want to take advantage of it, as at times i really hate weight training (it gets boring)

so i wanted to ask, what sort of physique did the prophet Muhammed (pbuh) have? ...as i remember watching a lecture about him being healthy able to walk mountains, had broad shoulders, practised wrestling, fencing etc.
and also what physiques did the mujahids have ? and what were their abilities (inshallah i intend to read "The Sword of Allah: Khalid Bin Al-Waleed, His Life and Campaigns" book to increase my knowledge on such a warrior)
also what physique do you think would be best ?

im sorry if this topic is abit silly and off topic from islam....but i would like my intentions for working out to also be islamic aswel if possible
your help is appreciated
jazakallah

our beloved pbuh had the perfect physique. he was not too big or too thin. everything about him was perfect and in proportion. what made this even more remarkable is that he had the strength of 10 men which is emphasised in the hadeeth about him wrestling and embarassing a well known undefeated wrestler at the time.

so trying to be the next ronnie coleman might be pushing it bro

Asalam Alykum wrwb,

I just didnt realize the best intention to have whilst weight training is what you mention !! This intention could be a huge motivation. Nothing beats this and will get you working hard without feeling guilty.

Akhi, you made my day ! I am SOOO happy !

Does seerah by Ibn Katheer include this? (page no.s)

JazakAllah khair
