i wanted to ask do angels not enter a house with pictures, or a room with pictures.
as im pretty much the only practising person in my house...there are few pictures about in the house...however in my room i have removed pictures etc as much as i can. (however some still may be visible such as pictures on my cartoon wallet. or my money box has a huge dollar note with the queens face on! will i have to remove this aswel ?)
so would there be angels (if there were to be) in my room ?

yes you are right angels will not enter a house with dogs or pictures.

if the images are not on display (i.e. money (with the queen's face) in your wallet does not count as being on "display") you're alright. however an image on your money box is not acceptable, however if you stuck a sticker or something over it you shud be fine.

as for trying to get pics down in your hse try through your speech and wisdom, but be warned even if ppl understand that something is haram (i.e. putting pics/animate images up), and agree that it is haram and don't question that part, they still may continue their habits (putting the pics up) because they simply "don't care". remember to always be patient with your family .

on side note, you use a "money box"....so i'm asking a respectable/non-condescending way...how old are you?

as for your last bit someone more knowledgeable shud answer...i've always thought that even if there is a single image in a house the angels will not enter, which would mean that even if there are no images on display in your room no angels will enter since it is part of the hse...regardless my opinion isn't worth anything so it would be nice if someone knowledgeable could comment.

aha ! im 18 years old..its more of a tin for money saving which cant be opened (but its now open) and is full of pennies and other small change. so its been lying on my desk for agggesss ! so yeh, im not a kid :P and i think i shall dispose of this tin as i really dont need it...and is prob doing more harm than good (with the face on it)

I live in a tall building and i ensure that in my apartment no picture is visible (if there are books with pictures, i put them in a closet), however kafir live in the building and muslim who have picture live in the building also, does this mean that no angel enter my apartment? or is "house" to be understood as my apartment and not the whole building?
